Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a SPW Field Engineer to support Self-Perform Work operations in Denver. You will coordinate field activities, ensure safety and quality, and help resolve SPW-specific challenges across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires 2-4 years in SPW/field engineering or related construction management, with Associate's degree and desired OSHA 30-Hour certifications. Bachelor's preferred; on-site work in Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2-4 years of SPW field engineering, construction management, or a related field required.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction preferred; 30-Hour Program Completion within 6 months of hire required.
• ASHE, CHC, or relevant market certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with technical planning and execution of SPW activities, ensuring tasks comply with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Coordinates with SPW crews and project teams to help resolve general technical issues and support steady workflow and timely project delivery.
• Assists with collecting and organizing technical documents related to SPW activities, including crew timesheets, daily production reports, and material usage logs.
• Identifies SPW productivity and quality issues, and assists crew supervision in finding solutions and correcting issues.
• Communicates SPW-related field updates to project leaders and crew members to ensure everyone is informed about changes, progress, or issues affecting SPW activities.
