Job summary

DPR Construction in Denver, CO is seeking a Construction Engineer to support Self-Perform Work (SPW) on complex projects. The role collaborates with SPW crews, project managers, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure scope, schedules and quality are met.

You will monitor productivity, track material usage, document field changes, and contribute to continuous improvement of SPW tasks and processes. A bachelor’s in CM/engineering/architecture and OSHA 30 preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Review contract drawings, specs, and submittals for SPW scopes.
• Collaborate with SPW project managers, superintendents, and teams to answer technical questions.
• Monitor SPW activity schedules and budgets; report variances for corrective actions.
• Support QA and safety protocols for SPW across all phases.
• Prepare and maintain SPW documentation: daily crew reports, logs, equipment usage, field changes.
• Identify opportunities for incremental SPW process improvements.
• Participate in SPW coordination meetings and communicate progress and issues.
