Job summary

Dragados in Atlanta, GA seeks a Segment Manager for the SR 400 Express Lanes Project. You will oversee a designated segment of the 16-mile toll lane expansion, coordinating design, construction, and quality to meet schedule and budget.

Requires 15 years of roadway project experience, a PE license or eligibility, and ability to lead 5–15 professionals, collaborate with GDOT/SRTA, and manage risks in a complex P3 environment while commuting to metro Atlanta.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of progressive roadway project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia or eligibility to reciprocity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Segment oversight: manage planning, design coordination, construction and QA for a defined SR 400 segment.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams (5–15 professionals) to meet project goals.
• Coordinate with GDOT, SRTA and stakeholders to address segment needs and impacts.
• Develop and maintain segment-specific schedules and budgets within the $4.6B framework.
• Collaborate with Design Manager to ensure constructability and GDOT compliance.
• Oversee construction activities including grading, paving, bridges, and express lane infrastructure.
• Plan traffic accommodations to maintain safety and mobility during construction.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
