Job summary

ACCIONA is leading a transformative infrastructure program in Georgia. The Superintendent will supervise crews and subcontractors on the SR400 Express Lanes project, ensuring GDOT requirements, safety, and quality standards are met from planning through closeout.

The role requires coordination with engineering, estimating, and field teams, along with adherence to Davis-Bacon and other federal labor standards. A bachelor’s in CM/CE is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in heavy civil construction (DOT highway/bridge preferred).
• 3+ years in construction management or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily project work activities and coordinate with engineering, estimating, field ops, and subcontractors.
• Plan and sequence work methods, equipment, materials, and labor to meet production and safety requirements.
• Conduct daily/weekly planning meetings and document progress and field notes.
• Review drawings, specs, and phasing plans; communicate hazards and ensure site safety plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to meet production and budget targets.
• Mitigate schedule risks and propose constructability solutions.
• Ensure compliance with federal wage/hour requirements and payrolls.
• Support and enforce SR400 Constructors’ Safety Program and GDOT requirements.
• Supervise and evaluate craft workers and subcontractors; provide feedback and training.
