Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking a Seed Sales professional for our Ekron, KY location. You will develop new prospects, manage grower relationships, and drive sales of seeds, chemicals, and fertilizers.

The role involves evaluating credit risk and ensuring on-time delivery, with a focus on customer satisfaction and profitability. Ideal candidates have a university degree or equivalent agriculture experience, 2+ years in the industry, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• University degree preferred or equivalent 5+ years agriculture experience
• 2+ years’ experience using standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the agriculture industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
• CCA preferred, not required
• Sales experience in agriculture with seed, chemical and fertilizer REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Develop new prospects and interact with existing growers to increase agricultural inputs sales to meet and exceed sales goals
• Assure customer satisfaction of products including, but not limited to on time and accurate delivery and quality of product
• Develop and implement strategies to increase the sales of proprietary products
• Consult with growers on agricultural issues and prescribe appropriate actions to resolve issues
• Perform initial credit review of customers to understand credit risk
• Collect outstanding accounts receivables from customers
• Perform other duties as assigned

5+ years agriculture experience

2+ years’ experience in agriculture

MS Word & Excel proficiency

Sales experience in agriculture with/ 

Education

University degree preferred

High school diploma or equivalent required
