Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for our Rushville, Indiana site. You will support seed production operations, perform grain handling tasks, operate equipment, and help maintain quality and safety standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED with willingness to obtain GED within 12 months. Expect rotating shifts, potential overtime, and opportunities to grow with a fast‑paced agriculture tech company.

Qualifications

• Safety minded and committed to safe work practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal/external customers.
• Comfortable with technology and learning company applications.
• LEAN/Continuous Improvement knowledge a plus.
• Forklift operation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Model Safety as the number one focus.
• 100% safety steward of a designated program.
• Seed corn harvest activities including receiving, husk/sort, drying, shelling, and bulk operations.
• Process activities such as color sorting, sizing, gravity table, treating, packaging, and palletizing operations.
• Use of automation and computerized systems (PLC, computers, iPads).
• Return and rework activities.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with the quality plan.
• Warehousing tasks including forklift operation, quality sampling, and pallet pooling.
• Data collection for continuous improvement projects from Bottoms Up Planning.
• Facility and equipment maintenance tasks.
