Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is hiring a Production Technician to support seed production operations on-site. You will operate process equipment, follow Quality Plans, collect data, and assist with maintenance and safety initiatives to ensure safe, efficient production and high-quality outcomes.

Role involves data entry, use of automated systems, and potential field logistics work. A safety-conscious, detail-oriented candidate who can work rotating shifts and weekends during peak seasons is ideal.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or willing to obtain GED within one year of hire.
• Legal to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Run various process equipment while following safety policies.
• Adhere to Quality Plan Work Instructions and requirements.
• Collect and record data for continuous improvement and production records.
• Support preventative maintenance and general repairs.
• Lead or support safety programs to enhance site safety.
• Assist with warehousing activities including forklift operation.
• Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, computers, tablets).
• Possibly perform field management activities (scouting, field maintenance, logistics, partner relationships).
• Assist with harvest activities (preparation, seed sampling, truck unloading).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
