Vylor Inc. in Worthington, Indiana, is seeking a Production Technician to support seed production operations.

You will perform harvest, conditioning, warehousing tasks, data collection for continuous improvement, and other duties as assigned, with rotating shifts including nights and weekends during peak production. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/sit for long periods, and work in variable conditions; basic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or willingness to obtain GED within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to climb, stand/sit for long periods, work in hot/cold/humid/dry conditions, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
• Computer aptitude and willingness to learn company applications.
• Valid US Driver’s License.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Harvest activities such as preparation, sorting, drying, etc.
• Conditioning activities such as sizing, gravity operation, packaging, palletizing.
• Return and rework activities.
• Quality Analysis & Control activities.
• Field management activities such as scouting, field maintenance.
• Warehousing activities including forklift operation, collecting samples, pooling, etc.
• Gathering data for continuous improvement projects.
• Various other duties as assigned by supervisor.
