Job summary

Vylor is seeking a Production Technician to support seed production operations at the Cherokee, Iowa site. You will work hands-on with process equipment, automated systems, and QA processes to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production outcomes.

You’ll collect data for continuous improvement, support preventative maintenance, and participate in warehousing, field, and harvest activities while upholding strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED, or be able to obtain GED within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Run various process equipment following safety policies.
• Adhere to Quality Plan Work Instructions and requirements.
• Collect and record data for continuous improvement and production records.
• Support preventive maintenance and general repair tasks.
• Lead or support safety programs to enhance site safety.
• Assist with warehousing including forklift operation.
• Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, computers, iPads).
• Potential to perform field management activities and coordinate with growers/contractors.
