Job summary
Vylor is seeking a Production Technician for our Dysart, Iowa location to support seed production operations. You will operate process equipment, follow quality plans, collect data, and participate in preventive maintenance while contributing to site safety initiatives.
The role involves warehousing duties, forklift operation, and using automation and computer systems. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, be able to work a rotating shift with overtime, and hold a valid US
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent).
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends/holidays during seasonal peaks.
- Legal ability to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
- Valid US driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle to field locations.
Responsibilities
- Operate diverse process equipment following safety policies.
- Adhere to Quality Plan Work Instructions and requirements.
- Collect and record data for continuous improvement and production records.
- Support preventative maintenance and general repair tasks.
- Lead or support a site safety program to enhance safety.
- Assist with warehousing activities including forklift operation.
- Use automation and computerized systems (HMI, PCs, tablets) to perform tasks.
- Potentially participate in field management, scouting, and logistics planning.
- Assist with harvest-related processes and related duties.
