Job summary

Arcata Associates, Inc. is seeking a System Administrator to maintain and support systems under the J-Tech II contract. You will coordinate with NTTR and other units, ensure system integrity, implement cyber security standards, and provide proactive monitoring and reporting.

The role requires hands-on server support, strong documentation skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment. Local travel to NTTR locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree in Computer/Information Technology or equivalent training.
• 3+ years progressive relevant experience.
• Knowledge of general network administration, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• MUST HAVE or obtain within 90 days CompTIA Security+ CE.
• MUST HAVE or obtain Top Secret clearance with possible SCI.

Responsibilities

• Supports all systems-related issues for assigned systems.
• Monitors systems health and performance trends.
• Provides hands-on server support and documentation.
• Collaborates with IT team to build secure, scalable infrastructure.
• Maintains hardware and software inventories and maintenance records.
• Adheres to Cyber Security standards and policies.
