Job summary

Ares Enterprise in the United States is seeking a Senior IT System Administrator to join our elite DoD-focused tech team. You will oversee day-to-day administration, security, and maintenance of a secure enterprise environment, ensuring high availability and robust cyber defense.

Candidates must have 5+ years of IT experience, a current IAT Level II certification, and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of IT experience in a complex enterprise environment.
• Current IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA, RHCSA, MCSA) per DoD 8570/8140.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Hands-on skills in Windows and Linux system/network administration; strong troubleshooting.
• Experience with COMSEC procedures and secure environment protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily system administration on Windows and/or Linux servers, including user management, patching, and STIGs.
• Provide Tier 1/2 end-user support including VTC setup and troubleshooting.
• Monitor security logs, assist with incident response, vulnerability remediation, and disaster recovery testing.
• Deliver technical support across operational performance areas and adapt to new technologies.
