J&T Business Consulting is seeking a Tier 2 Level 2 Systems Administrator in Annapolis, MD to maintain server infrastructure, operating systems, and core applications within a secure enterprise environment.

The candidate will perform advanced Tier 2 support, patch management, system configuration, and security/compliance activities, collaborating across IT teams to implement improvements and documentation.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with a current Polygraph is required.
• 15+ years IT/sys admin experience or 10+ years with a Bachelor’s in IT/CS.
• Must hold at least one IAT Level 1 compliant certification (e.g., CompTIA A+ CE, CompTIA Network+ CE).
• Experience with patch management, system security controls, and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health, security, and performance of server infrastructure and core applications.
• Provide advanced Tier 2 support for escalated issues.
• Apply patches and configuration changes per change management procedures.
• Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to security policies and federal standards.
