The candidate will handle escalated issues, perform system configurations, and ensure compliance with federal guidelines while collaborating with network, security, and help desk teams. Salary ranges from $84,000 to $100,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current Polygraph is required.
• Education & Experience: see above.
• Must hold at least one IAT Level 1 compliant certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and maintain enterprise servers, operating systems, and core business applications.
• Apply patches, updates, and configuration changes in line with change management policies.
• Perform routine system health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Provide advanced technical support for issues escalated from help desk/Tier 1 teams.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system, application, and network-related problems.
• Assist with user account management, permissions, and access controls.
• Install, configure, and deploy new systems, hardware, applications, and tools.
• Assist in system upgrades, migrations, and software integrations.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and operational standards.
• Ensure systems adhere to security policies and federal guidelines.
• Implement and monitor security controls, including antivirus, endpoint protection, firewalls, and access management.
• Participate in audits, risk assessments, and remediation tasks.
• Use enterprise monitoring tools to track system performance, availability, and capacity.
• Respond to alerts, incidents, and outages, performing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare routine reports on system health, incidents, and infrastructure improvements for management.
• Collaborate with network, security, application, and help desk teams on cross-functional initiatives.
• Contribute to IT process improvements and documentation.
• Provide input on technology selection and system architecture improvements.

Skills

Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygram

Education

High School Diploma / GED with 10+ years IT/systems administration experience

Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience
