Job summary

The General Services Department seeks a qualified professional to design, develop, implement and facilitate blended learning programs for security techniques and operations. You will analyze training needs, coordinate staff-led sessions, and ensure compliance with security best practices and regulations.

You will lead classroom and online training, prepare and host sessions, track testing results, and collaborate with HR to support recruitment and onboarding for Metro Security staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in organizational training, adult learning theory, industrial and organizational psychology, education, business, or criminology;
• Four (4) years of experience in organizational training, training program management, or training program administration.
• To include one (1) year of supervisory experience.
• May be required to work odd hours and weekends.
• Experience training law enforcement, security, military, or corrections is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop curriculum, including training objectives and testing methodologies.
• Design and monitor security training programs and services; revise as needed.
• Analyze learning needs and ensure compliance with security practices and regulations.
• Conduct audits of training programs and research learning strategies.
• Lead classroom and web-based training sessions and online meetings.
• Coordinate, schedule and host security-focused training sessions and maintain testing databases.
