Security Industry Specialists, Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking an Learning & Development Specialist to bridge the Training department with operational business units.

You will intake field training requests, craft original curriculum outlines and assessments, and ensure training compliance with standards and company goals. Additionally, you will update sessions with field instructors and maintain governance over LMS course portfolios.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in instructional design, curriculum writing, or L&D business partnering.
• Deep knowledge of adult learning theory, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and ADDIE/SAM.
• Strong stakeholder management, technical writing, coaching, and compliance audit capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Intake field training requests and translate needs into instructional strategies.
• Write original course outlines, lesson plans, storyboards, and validated assessments.
• Conduct Train-the-Trainer briefings and create Facilitator Guides for field trainers.
• Audit learning materials to ensure compliance with regulations and company objectives.
• Manage LMS portfolio alignment and hand off fully scoped blueprints to Content Designer.
