Job summary

FMOL Health seeks a seasoned leader to oversee System Security training programs, directing curriculum development, delivery methods, and vendor coordination to ensure staff receive compliant, effective education across the organization. The role requires 7 years in staff development or training with 3 years in security, plus a Bachelor's in criminal justice, management or related field; CHPA preferred.

This role will drive safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in training

Qualifications

• 7+ years of staff development, training experience
• 3+ years of security experience or law enforcement
• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, management or related field

Responsibilities

• Facilitates training for new and incumbent Security team members
• Develops new curriculum and updates existing curriculum for training and in-service programs for security team
• Monitors effectiveness of training seminars and their effect on service, productivity and turnover
• Oversees development of training quality evaluation tools
• Interfaces with security leadership to identify training needs
• Ensures catalog of training seminars and programs is accurate
• Stays informed on trends, regulatory standards and best practices in training
• Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors within budget and quality standards
• Monitors threat environment and training delivery trends to maximize effectiveness
• Directs design and implementation of security training courses (classroom, self-study, computer-based, web-based)
• Conducts department training assessments by reviewing programs and interviewing stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned
