Job Description
Responsible for all aspects of System Security training policies, objectives, and initiatives. Plans and directs new training techniques and suggests enhancements to existing training programs. Oversees relationships with vendors to ensure appropriate employee participation in outside training programs. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and manages staff as appropriate, while promoting a variety of department and System initiatives utilizing a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
Experience: 7 years of staff development, training,
or teaching experience required with 3 years of law enforcement or relevant security experience.
Education: Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, management or related field.
Licensure/Certification: Valid driver’s license upon job entry and Louisiana or Mississippi driver’s license within 90 days of job entry Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA) by the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety preferred.
