Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Technician in Ohio to troubleshoot and repair intrusion, IP CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems across multiple manufacturers. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs or replacements, and deliver clear reports to customers.

You will communicate effectively with clients, ensure safety and system uptime, and identify upsell opportunities while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years in low-voltage or security industry.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to pass thorough background and identity checks.
• Ability to obtain an Ohio Fire License within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service intrusion, IP CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems from multiple manufacturers.
• Inspect systems to ensure proper functionality and provide written/digital reports.
• Provide customers with high-level service to resolve building inefficiencies.
• Offer solutions and quotes to support recommendations.
