Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking skilled security technicians to install, test, and service electronic security systems including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and access control across residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

The position offers starting pay of $20-$35 per hour based on experience, with a monthly incentive program up to 10% of annual pay, benefits, and a company vehicle. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes for safe installation.
• Math skills including calculations (percentages, area, volume).
• Integrity, communication, and accountability are valued traits.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire alarm system devices.
• Test and verify that systems and devices function per manufacturer specifications.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain and demonstrate system operation to customers.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, co-workers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• All other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
