Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is hiring technicians to install, service, and test electronic security systems including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and access control across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 per hour based on experience, with a monthly incentive program of up to 10% of annual pay. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks are required; travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have math skills including ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; basic algebra and geometry.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire specified alarm system devices.
• Test and verify that all systems and devices installed function properly per specifications.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain and demonstrate to the customer how the specific alarm system installed works.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, co-workers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
