Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking skilled technicians to install, service, and test electronic security systems across residential, commercial, and industrial environments. You will work with burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and related equipment, ensuring safe and compliant installations.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 per hour based on experience, with a monthly incentive program of up to 10% of annual pay.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and submit to background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain licenses/certifications as required by state regulations.
• High School Diploma/GED is required for all positions.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire specified alarm system devices.
• Test and verify that all installed systems function properly per manufacturer specifications.
• Use multimeters for volts and ohm readings and circuit analysis.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain and demonstrate to customers how the alarm system works.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, co-workers and Central Monitoring Station.
• All other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
