Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is hiring technicians to install, service, and test electronic security systems including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and access control in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 per hour based on experience, with a monthly incentive of up to 10% of annual pay, and benefits including medical and dental insurance, paid vacation/holidays, and a 401K/403b plan. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug tests.
• Must travel as needed.
• Strong math skills including algebra and geometry used for calculations.
• Knowledge of fire/electrical codes for safe installations.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire alarm system devices.
• Test and verify system functionality per manufacturer specs.
• Explain to customers how the system works and provide demonstrations.
• Complete paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers, and Central Monitoring Station.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
