Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to install, test, and service electronic security systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will handle alarm panels, CCTV, access control, and related devices with emphasis on safety and code compliance.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 per hour based on experience, plus a monthly incentive program up to 10% of annual pay.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain state licenses/certifications to work in security per local/state rules.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Strong math skills including geometry and percentages.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes for safe alarm installations.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire alarm system devices as specified.
• Test systems and devices to ensure proper operation per manufacturer specs.
• Use multimeters to verify voltages and resistance and perform circuit analysis.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain how the installed alarm works to customers.
