Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and test electronic security systems including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and access control across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 based on experience, with a monthly incentive program up to 10% of annual pay. Company vehicle, tool allowance, and competitive benefits are offered to support field work.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and submit to background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain licenses/certifications to perform work in security per state regulations.
• High School Graduate or GED is required.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Must have mathematical skills including ability to calculate figures, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes to ensure safe installation of alarm systems/devices.

Responsabilités

• Install and wire specified alarm system devices.
• Test and verify all installed systems and devices function per specs.
• Use multimeters for volts and OHM readings and circuit analysis.
• Hook up RJ31X to specified panel mountings on devices like motion detectors and keypads.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain and demonstrate to customers how the alarm system works.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
