Job summary

Per Mar Security Services seeks a Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and test electronic security systems, including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and access control in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.

Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 per hour based on experience, plus a monthly incentive program of up to 10% of annual pay. Tool allowance, company vehicle, and cell phone are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Mathematical skills including area, volumes, percentages, and basic algebra/geometry.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes for safe installation of alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire specified alarm system devices.
• Test and verify systems and devices function per specifications.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain system operation to customers.
• Complete paperwork daily and coordinate with departments and Central Monitoring Station.
