Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train on projects ranging from small to large, in a culture that values growth and exceptional service.

You will work on non-routine systems, read blueprints, and collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery. Travel locally may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years relevant security experience.
• Experience with security, fire alarm, or life-safety systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and service security and life-safety systems.
• Read blueprints and diagrams to determine installation.
• Demonstrate equipment and complete system start-up and certification.
• Provide customer training and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to manage timelines and budgets.
