Job summary

IES seeks a Technician II - Security Systems to program and install card access, CCTV, CATV and intrusion systems per specifications and engineered drawings. You will lead a small installation crew, ensure safety and quality, and train team members.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and at least two years in commercial security systems, with proficiency in tools and MS Office. You will also handle project documentation and coordinate with customers as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in commercial security systems or related telecommunications field.
• Ability to supervise others and coordinate crew performance.
• Knowledge of Company/industry codes and ability to learn more.
• Proficient with listed tools and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret project documents.

Responsibilities

• Program and install security systems per manufacturer requirements and drawings.
• Lead crew, train personnel, and coordinate timelines for projects.
• Complete IES paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, work orders, etc.).
• Adhere to quality and safety standards and regulations.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
