Job summary

IES Communications in Utah is seeking a Security Systems Technician II to program and install security systems (card access, CCTV, CATV, intrusion) per drawings and manufacturer specs. You will coordinate a small crew, ensure safety/quality standards, and manage related project paperwork.

The role requires reading blueprints, supervising others, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Onsite work and potential travel within territory are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial security systems or related telecommunications field and ability to supervise others.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents.

Responsibilities

• The Security Systems Technician II will program and install security systems per manufacturer requirements and engineered drawings.
• Lead crew and coordinate personnel and timelines to complete projects.
• Accurately complete IES COMMERCIAL paperwork (timesheets, work orders, change orders).
• Adhere to company, customer and industry quality and safety standards and regulations.
