Job summary

Securitas Technology is seeking an Installation Technician II to install and service intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems at customer sites. You will perform wiring, configurat ion, and testing while coordinating with project leadership for scheduling and delivery.

The role requires 2–3 years of field experience, relevant certifications, and a valid driver’s license. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a nationwide security

Qualifications

MUST HAVE 2–3 years of experience installing/servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 video Certifications and 1 Access Control Certification.
Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred.
Access Control Certification preferred.
IP Video and IT experience preferred.
Ability to climb ladders up to 24 ft and carry items up to 75 lbs.
On-call on a rotational basis after hours & weekends.

Responsibilities

Install and configure intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control systems.
Run electrical wiring in confined spaces and perform wiring and equipment setup.
Coordinate with Team Lead or Project Manager on scheduling and equipment delivery.
Test and troubleshoot installations for functionality and code compliance.
Maintain professional appearance and adhere to safety and cost guidelines.
Foster positive customer relationships and support contract retention.
Handle proprietary information and documentation per company policies.
Stay current with product and technology updates through ongoing training.
