Job summary

Minuteman Security Technologies Inc. seeks a Security Service Technician I to maintain alarms, cameras, and access control. You will service, troubleshoot, and document activities while communicating with clients and following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of field experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a basic understanding of security components. Valid driver’s license required; NICET/PSA certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in electronics or related field is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience servicing security systems or similar technical role.
• Basic understanding of security system components and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail; excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on security systems (alarms, cameras, access control).
• Respond to service calls and address client concerns professionally.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with minimal disruption to clients.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate updates to clients and provide system-use guidance.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures during all activities.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
