Job summary

Minuteman Security Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician III responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and alarms.

The role requires minimal supervision and the ability to mentor junior technicians. You will install and configure advanced security systems, perform preventive maintenance, document activities, and train customers on proper use and care of equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for customer interactions and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and configure advanced security systems, including access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and integrated security platforms.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems, providing timely resolutions to technical issues.
• Conduct regular system inspections, preventive maintenance, and software upgrades to ensure optimal system functionality.
• Document all service activities, including installation, repairs, maintenance, and testing procedures.
• Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of security equipment and systems.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of new security projects.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
