Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to join our dynamic team in Sioux Falls. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain security and life-safety systems while delivering world-class service to customers and colleagues.

You will work with cross-functional teams, perform routine and after-hours service calls, and contribute to project installations and system audits in compliance with safety policies and regulations.

Qualificações

• Developing exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Developing technical skills related to building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems.
• Ability to develop basic programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. uses hand/power tools).
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsabilidades

• Respond to routine and some non-routine customer service calls, scheduled maintenance calls, and emergency calls on a timely basis; diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace defective parts and debug systems for routine problems; install projects as necessary.
• Use solid troubleshooting skills to isolate and fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
• Identifies and resolves problems for many types of service calls and provides solutions; completes necessary repairs and replacements.
• Completes accurate and detailed service reports for customer and Convergint for invoicing and cost tracking.
• May provide custom systems integrations, upgrade planning and execution, audits, and/or database management for installed systems.
• Executes service calls in compliance with regulations and safety policies; works with team members to improve operations.
• Scope includes preventative maintenance for installed systems and cross-training with other specialists.
