Convergint, a global leader in security and life safety, is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician in Sioux Falls. You will join a dynamic team that supports customers with service, maintenance and small projects, ensuring safety and uptime.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, parts replacement, documentation, and collaboration with teammates. You should have strong customer service, basic programming or controls knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Developing exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Developing technical skills related to building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and electronic security systems.
• Ability to develop basic programming skills and troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls, diagnose and repair equipment or software.
• Install projects as necessary and perform maintenance checks.
• Complete detailed service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Provide system integrations, upgrades, audits and consult as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
