Job summary

Johnson Controls is hiring a Security Systems Technician III to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize commercial security networks on customer sites. You will handle burglar alarms, CCTV, card access, and related devices, coordinating inspections and clearly communicating system status to customers.

The role demands strong electrical/electronic skills, a valid driver’s license, and experience with Tyco or comparable products; NICET II is a plus. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-4 years’ experience installing and inspecting/repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras.
• HIRSCH Certificate.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Electrical/Electronic background.
• Valid driver's license.
• NICET II or greater preferred.
• Fire alarm experience preferred.
• Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service commercial security systems to resolve customer concerns.
• Repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, Card Access systems and related equipment.
• Set up and coordinate inspections and installations with police, fire departments, or other agencies.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
• Maintain high level of customer service and professional conduct on site.
