Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Systems Associate Technician 2 to troubleshoot and service burglar/fire alarms, CCTV and Card Access systems. You will work remotely with the right tools and provide customers with high-quality service and solutions on-site or at remote locations.

Required are a high school diploma, 3–4 years with Tyco Integrated Security or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. NICET II or higher is preferred; Hirsch certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-4 years’ experience installing and inspecting/repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras.
• HIRSCH Certificate
• Excellent communication skills.
• Electrical/Electronic background.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service security systems; repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV systems, Card Access systems.
• Coordinate inspections and/or installations with police, fire departments, or other agencies; provide quotes and recommendations.
• Work independently from a remote location with tools and equipment; deliver high level of service to resolve building inefficiencies.
