Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Systems Technician 3 to service and support commercial security systems in the Aurora, CO area. You will troubleshoot, repair, and install burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and card-access systems, often working independently with company-provided tools and a remote setup.

The role requires hands-on electrical/electronic experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills to coordinate with customers and agencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-4 years experience installing and inspecting/repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras.
• HIRSCH Certificate.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Electrical/Electronic background.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service commercial security systems; repair or replace alarms, CCTV, and access systems.
• Coordinate inspections and installations with authorities as needed.
• Provide recommendations to improve building security and upsell where appropriate.
• Prepare quotes and service reports for customers.
