Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and test burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and access control systems across residential, commercial, and industrial environments in Wisconsin. The role offers starting pay $20-$35/hour based on experience, with a monthly incentive up to 10% of annual pay.

The position requires a valid driver's license, the ability to travel, and the willingness to obtain necessary licenses.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes is required to ensure safe installation.

Responsibilities

• Install and wire specified alarm system devices.
• Test and verify that all systems and devices installed function properly per manufacturer specifications.
• Use multimeters for volts and OHM readings and circuit analysis.
• Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
• Explain and demonstrate to the customer how the alarm system works.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, co-workers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• All other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
