Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Project Technician to install, program, startup and certify security systems across varied projects. You will train customers and collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure top-tier service while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will read blueprints, interpret schematics, and utilize test instruments to verify performance, while advising on improvements and supporting project managers.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience required.
• Demonstrated customer service and communication skills.
• Basic electronics knowledge and ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and start-up security and related systems on assigned projects.
• Provide training and ensure customer satisfaction during project completion.
• Work with engineering and project teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Read blueprints and manuals to determine installation procedures and repair equipment.
• Assist in documenting project close-out and provide ongoing technical support as needed.
• Travel to local job sites; some overnight travel may be required.
