Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, and startup fire, security, and building automation systems. You will train customers, work with project budgets, and coordinate with customers for successful completion.

You may mentor less-experienced staff while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance on every assignment. Ideal candidates bring strong technical and troubleshooting skills, familiarity with blueprints, and the ability to deliver high-level customer

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation environments.
• Certification in Genetec, Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, or other enterprise-level systems.
• Education: College degree or trade school or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of security, fire alarm, and building automation systems.
• Lead or mentor junior staff and provide technical training as needed.
• Interface with customers to provide technical support and ensure satisfaction.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget, with proper documentation and close-out activities.
