Job summary

Tech Electronics is seeking a Service Technician - Security Systems to service, troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain electronic security systems at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure systems operate reliably while providing excellent customer service.

The role involves working with access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom, and other integrated security technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, or intercom systems.
• Experience with IP-based security systems and networking.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Field service or technician experience.
• Familiarity with multiple manufacturers/platforms.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and service electronic security systems at customer locations.
• Service and maintain access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom, and related security devices.
• Install, configure, and program security system components.
• Document service work and communicate findings to customers and internal teams.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle; participate in on-call rotations.
