Job summary

Tech Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician - Commercial Security Systems to repair, install and maintain access control, video security, intrusion, alarm, infant protection and intercom systems at client sites.

The role requires reading blueprints, timely service calls, proper documentation, and safe, compliant work. A high school diploma, 2+ years in commercial security, and a valid driver's license are required; strong IT and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Must have networking skills and 1 year experience programming access and video systems.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service calls within the assigned area and restores systems to full functionality.
• Installs systems according to Tech Systems Installation Standards.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics.
• Maintains adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Identifies revisions, upgrades, and performs independent installs.
• Documents progress and updates tickets in service/project tracking systems.
• Manages inventory and resources in their possession.
• Performs Preventive Maintenance inspections per policy.
• Assists with other technical support issues as needed.
• Attends to duties assigned by Regional Manager or executive staff.
