Job summary

Tech Electronics seeks a Service Technician – Security Systems to service and maintain electronic security systems at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure reliable operation while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting access control, video surveillance, IP-based devices, reading diagrams, and coordinating with customers and teams. Company vehicle, tools, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, or intercom systems.
• IP-based security systems and networking experience.
• Multiple security platforms experience and industry certifications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and service electronic security systems.
• Install and program security components and ensure proper operation.
• Document service work and communicate findings clearly to customers and teams.
• Read blueprints and schematics and test with diagnostic tools.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle; participate in on-call rotations.
