Tech Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician for Commercial Security Systems. The role handles repair, maintenance and installation of access control, video security, intrusion, alarm and intercom systems, with emphasis on service quality.

Responsibilities include responding to service calls, installing systems per standards, reading blueprints, updating tickets, inventory control, and performing preventive maintenance. A clean driving record and valid license required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in commercial security systems installation or service.
• Network skills and 1 year programming access/video systems.
• EL06 Limited Energy License or eligible to take exam within 60 days.
• Certifications to work independently preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within assigned area and restore systems to full functionality.
• Install systems according to Tech Systems Installation Standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Update tickets in service/project tracking system and communicate with Customer Service.
• Manage inventory and resources in possession.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Assist with other technical support tasks as needed.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
