Job summary

Securitas Technology, part of Securitas, seeks technically minded individuals with experience in low voltage electronics to service security systems at customer sites. This position handles post-installation issues and special projects as needed, providing essential support to ensure uptime and optimized security deployments.

You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, document changes, and contribute to clear technical documentation for diverse audiences, with opportunities for career growth

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Familiarity installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion and fire alarm systems.
• Basic knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
• Excellent problem solving, time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure uptime and system performance.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues both individually and in a team.
• Execute preventative maintenance to maximize availability and identify faults.
• Perform routine configuration changes (user permissions, application configuration).
• Document system modifications in a digital change control system.
• Produce technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform pre-deployment end-to-end testing of upgrades and modifications.
• Conduct on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.
