Job summary

Securitas Technology, part of Securitas, is seeking technically minded individuals with experience in low voltage electronics and electronic security solutions to join our team nationwide. You will respond to trouble tickets, diagnose issues, and perform on-site software upgrades and installations.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, documenting changes, and producing clear technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, burglary alarms, intrusion systems and fire alarms.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Certifications in enterprise CCTV and Access Control are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure uptime and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues individually and as a team.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize availability and identify faults.
• Perform routine configuration changes (user permissions, application configuration, etc.).
• Document all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system.
• Produce technical documentation describing deployment for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform pre-deployment end-to-end testing of upgrades and major modifications.
• Perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.
