Job summary

Securitas Technology is a leading security solutions provider seeking an on-site technician to install, configure, and maintain access control, CCTV, intrusion, and fire alarm systems. You will handle trouble tickets, perform maintenance, document changes, and work with clients at site locations.

The role requires high school diploma and experience with low voltage equipment; certifications such as NICET or ESA are preferred, with strong IT/network basics and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, intrusion and fire alarm systems.
• Certifications such as NICET, ESA, NTS or State licenses are preferred.
• Networking knowledge (IP addressing) and Microsoft Office proficiency are important.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to maintain uptime and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues individually or in teams.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maximize availability.
• Make routine configuration changes (user permissions, app config).
• Document system modifications with change control tracking.
• Produce technical documentation for deployment details for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Test upgrades and major modifications pre-deployment.
• Perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.
