Target is seeking a Security Specialist focused on protecting guests, team members, and merchandise while upholding Target's safety standards. The role involves surveillance, incident documentation, and de-escalation in a fast-paced store environment.

Candidates should be 18+, with a high school diploma, the ability to operate scanners and multi-frequency devices, and a collaborative, service-oriented attitude. Training is provided, including safety and policy adherence across shifts.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Meet any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

• Greet guests and assist them to find what they need or resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest interaction with a sincere thank you and assist peers as needed.
• Promote a physical security culture and maintain safe standards storewide.
• Respond to and document security incidents in a timely manner.
• Use de-escalation tactics and Target video surveillance system when needed.
• Conduct merchandise theft recoveries and provide theft apprehension support as needed.
