Convergint is seeking a full-time Sales Manager to lead security sales and business development. You will recruit and direct a sales team, drive profitability, and align with our culture and values.

The role emphasizes market strategy, upselling and cross-selling across accounts, recruiting top talent, daily planning, coaching, and accurate forecasting. Travel is required; competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of successful sales experience, including two years in commercial sales (electronic security, building automation systems, healthcare technologies)
• College degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred
• Strong leadership and ability to drive sales in global teams
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and analytics tools

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a vertical or territory sales strategy
• Lead upselling and cross-selling of services across accounts
• Recruit, hire, onboard and develop top sales talent
• Provide daily and weekly sales planning and motivation to the team
• Coach key sales pursuits from pre-meeting to debriefing
• Provide training and performance management to continuously improve the team
• Assist Account Executives with RFP responses, proposals, and pricing
• Produce reliable monthly and annual sales forecasts
• Perform other duties as required
