Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit seeks a capable supervisor to lead Security Officers and Lead Officers across client sites. You will ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed, while coordinating with management and client representatives to maintain security standards.

A High School diploma or GED plus two years of related experience is required; retail experience is preferred. You’ll coach, train, and evaluate staff, prepare reports, and ensure proper coverage of posts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel assigned to client sites; ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed; notify authorities and client in emergencies.
• Coach and discipline personnel; meet with employees and document actions.
• Train Security Officers and review post orders with staff.
• Assist in submission of payroll and personnel information.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Prepare, file, and submit various reports as required.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements and quality service.
• Carry out supervisory duties such as interviewing, orienting and training employees, planning and directing work, coaching performance, and making hiring/termination recommendations.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer as needed.
